getting the error code on the bsod. i've watched several tutorials and tried many things. i am not a tech smart person, but learning. I THINK i need to install windows, as its not looking like there is anything on the hard drive. the hp site does not have any drivers (?) for my model. what i want to know is can i go purchase windows 10 and install and the problem be fixed?

I think you should have Windows 7 Home 64 bit on there.

 

Try this:
Restart your computer and hold down the F8 key.
On the Advanced Boot Options screen, use the arrow keys to highlight Repair Your Computer, and then press Enter.

 

You may have to restart and hold the F8 key a few times to get to the advanced boot options screen.
