external DVD stopped working with Windows 10 update ?.

Hello,

I get the message that windows can not verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. So far Microsoft and the DVD manufacturer have thrown up their hands.  Need help because I use this device on a regualr basis.

I'm sorry, but there is nothing we can do -- as HP does not provide drivers for third-party products.

If you examine the external DVD, somewhere on it you will find a model number.  You can then go online and do searches for drivers using that model number.   You can also see if the manufacturer of the CD/DVD device provides drivers at their website.

Manufacturers have stopped including CD/DVD devices with PCs for some years now because everyone now uses USB sticks.  So, you will have a really hard time finding Windows 10 drivers for CD/DVD devices.
