I’m sorry you’re stuck with the firmware update. That must be frustrating. 🙁
 

Could you tell me whether the problem is with an HP PC or an HP printer? Also, please share any of the following you can (a quick photo/screenshot is perfect, it helps me see exactly what the device is telling us), and I can help you accordingly.
