HP ENVY Desktop PC TPE01-3000i (4M0M1AV)

The system directs me theMS store to download it - However no download link there. k When I go to the SW and drivers as an alternative - there is also NO download link there for the cloud recovery tool..  It will occasionally take me to yet another opportunity to search the  same page again.

Where can I actually find the link or the URL to actually download the cloud recovery tool for this HP computer?

Turns out that IF I  removed the USB stick after 1 of the passes, where it states to remove IF additional media was received from HP, that it than 'slowly' restored the operating system.

ALL is good now.

I did have to run all of the WIN 11 updates and same for all of the HP drivers but am getting back now to the point where I can recover all of my data or at least most of it.

Thanks for your help.

Hi:

See if the file I zipped up and attached below works for you.

This is the version I run when I try to help other forum members with how to use the Cloud Recovery tool.

Thank You for sending that zip file.

I had to run it on a older MSI laptop to get it to unzip and load.

I than executed it and finally got a recovery 'file' on a new USB stick.

When I when it on my target  computer (The HP where I lost the boot drive), it starts up, asks me if I want to recover files OR to restore without recovery.  I select the restore without recovery.  It than goes thru the 'reformatting' where it takes about 10 min, than prompts me to 'remove' the media IF HP sent me a separate USB drive.  THEY have not, so I select  next wo removing the 'original' UBS recovery stick, and than it loops back to the original questions and re-executes the questions and the reformatting'.  It has done this about 5  times now.  IS this normal, OR do I need to try to recreate the recovery drive on my old MSI computer?

You're very welcome.

The cloud recovery tool should not be doing that and unfortunately, I don't know what you can do to get it to work.

I recommend you make a bootable W11 installation flash drive with the media creation tool and clean install W11.

Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)

After Windows has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your PC's support page.

Anytime.

Glad to have been of assistance, and that is good news you were able to get the PC restored with the cloud recovery tool.
