how do I do a factory reset without a disk for Hp pavilion pc a6010n

Hello, I do not have a recovery disk & I am wanting to do a factory reset so that I can give computer to a family member.

First of all ensure you have a "Licence Key" then perhaps Heidoc for an OS.

Correction, I have the product key for Windows Vista, hopefully thats what you are referring to.

If you have your computer on, turn it off.  Wait about a minute and power it back on.  Then, start tapping the F11 key.  This will take you to the page that you will follow instructions on to reset your computer to factory settings.  I've done this several times and it is an easy process.  As I said, just follow the prompt.  Ron
