Product: hp envy 23 desktop
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

I was not able to repair files after some type of crash    i had the option to save files before I had to factory restore    now that I has restored i need to put those files back on my pc   they are on discs    how do i do this

Hi

 

Please explain what software you used to make/create the saved files?

What are the file extensions, EG savedfile.ZIP?

 

Is there folder/directory called windows.old?

Based on your comments, my guess is that you used HP Backup to store the files, right?
