what edition of Windows 7 do you need?  Home, Pro or Ultimate?

I don't think HP  has those Win7 OEM ISOs anymore as they are no longer available.

you may have to do some extensive google searches for them

Hi, @Hcalhoun2

According to the W7 driver section at the link below, your PC is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool.

HP EliteDesk 800 35W G3 Desktop Mini PC Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Customer Support

You can use this tool to create a bootable W7 recovery drive that will reinstall W7, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.

Here is the file for the tool (found under the security section).

This package provides the Cloud Recovery Client for supported computer models running a supported operating system. This Client Utility enables users to download the Recovery Kit from the cloud

I have attached the instructions for use below...

Turn out this a 7th gen intel. Win 7 gripe constantly about. Also graphics card software even though said was win 7 64bit said not for this system. gpuz confirmed was intel.

There were some models that has the 6th gen processors for which W7 would be supported.

See if this modded graphics driver works for your PC...

Well could not tolerate the cause not supported due to too new.  Also magnify was stuck on lense and would not work right.  So back on windows 10 dark again.  The cpu pops up constantly.

This HeiDoc.net tool you can download Windows and Office ISO's. Last time I checked they had Windows 7. I suggest getting the 2018 Windows 7 ISO. This is a legal site because the product key is not included. You will need to enter your license on your tower or bottom of Laptop. This is also a plain OS you will need the drivers from HP.

I have downloaded from hp cloud.  Windows 7 64bit.  It seem window 7 does not support 7th gen intel cpu.  Th hp graphic driver does not work with computer even though is intel gpu.  Win 10 seem behaving.  Wish could have loaded 7.  Lot of amateur radio apps work better on 7.

Did the system ship with Windows 7? If it did ship with Windows 7 please have your product key ready and download from  the tool I posted. The tool has a bunch of Dell ISO's but you can get a plain OEM Windows 7 2018 version with USB 3.0 and a bunch of updates injected. It is safe and legal to use that tool because it is the ISO only no License you will need your product key.

I assume it did as is included in cloud recovery.  System bought used.  Now days knee jerk is to refurbished with windows 10 instead of factory shipped on.  If it did not ship, hp would not waste time building drivers for 7. They have stated such for older 10 years laptops desktops they would not be developing windows 10 drivers.
