My HP laptop has some issues with the keyboard. I had the screen replaced last week due to screen not working and when I got the laptop and started to use it, I noticed that certain keyboard buttons not working. Like Q, L, J, the back button and the number keypad. The number keypad however has special characters that do work and also as I start my laptop I have a numeric password and when I enter this the numbers work. When I try to type something the letters above do not work and also the numbers do not work and I can not seem to figure out why?

Greetings @HectorGram

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Sounds like the Tech may have messed up keyboard function.

I would contact the repair Tech for assistance.

Regards
