Hi! I have an HP Notebook "15-ay040ns", and I need to replace my keyboard because the G key doesn´t work.

Where can I buy the keyboard ( code 855026-071) in States, near my zip code: 33154.

Thank you

Hey there! @Magaby10, Welcome to HP forums

I understand you have keyboard issues with your PC.

Don't worry I'd like to help you out.

Have you tried to check with an external keyboard does it work fine?

As you mentioned the G key on the keyboard is not working.

Open a notepad on your PC try typing in the keys and check if you are able to type letter G on your PC.

If the G is not working on a notepad it is a hardware issue, please contact HP support for service options.

Link to contact HP.

Also, you can order the part from HP parts store, Please click this link to order the parts.

Hope this helps!

Have a great day ahead! 🙂

Thanks for your quick response!

Unfortunately it is a hardware problem only with the G key.

I am on warranty but HP don´t have technical service in Argentina.

So I decided to buy the keyboard and sell the notebook...

When I visit your link for HP Parts Store, it doesn´t find the code of my keyboard: 855026-071 (EEuroparts in Spain confirmed this code for my notebook), the web said: "your search doesn´t match with any part..."

 Best Regards

@Magaby10, Thanks for your quick response and time too.

I appreciate your efforts for trying out the steps.

I have found the telephone number for phone support.

I would not be able to share the telephone number in public.

I will send you a private message with the link.

Please watch your inbox for more information.

Happy Weekend ahead!

Take Care! 🙂
