My computer sometimes turns on, sometimes doesn't, so I left it on last night so I could do my taxes today. It shut down during the night and won’t turn on again. Please, help. I can’t afford a new computer.

I figured it out, strangely. But, I want to thank all of you who responded to me.
i have a dongle that goes to my computerized sewing machine. It's been plugged in since 2005. I unplugged it and tried onturn it on. Presto! I don’t know why it caused a problem after all these years, but it did.
thanks, again to all of you! AND, I got my taxes done! Happy Easter, Happy Passover!
