Unfortunately, that I would not know for you specific model PC.

 

Normally you tap the F10 key at the beginning of the welcome screen to gain access to the BIOS.

 

Then at the top of the screen, there is usually tabs labeled for what the sections are for, and one of them should be a security tab.

Instead of recovering the password I have decided to buy another computer. Right now I have the HP Slimline s5210f. I understand the HP s5710f should be a few years newer. Could you give me an idea whether the HP Pavilion a 6700f and the HP Pavilion p6510 are newer or older than the Slimline s5710f. Thank you very much.

The s5710f was released to market on 11-17-2010.

 

The a6700f was released to market on 11-11-2008.

 

The p6510 was released to market on  05-06-2010
