warranty showing start date 08/01/2016 and end date as the same date 08/01/2016 i only purchased the pc 08/01/2016

Thank you for your email and contacting HP Support.
Based on the information provided you have purchased your unit from the Dixon's Store Group (DSG). The DSG have an agreement with HP, where they support the standard 12 month warranty on your product.
Because of this agreement with the DSG, your product is out of warranty with HP, therefore please contact your point of purchase for any support you may require. Please be advised, we can offer you the support options below.

This is a peer to peer help forum. The only presence that HP has on it are the Admins and the Mods. Otherwise, none of us works for HP. Therefore, you should contact HP Customer Support for help with your problem. They will be able to help you solve it.
