NY760AA-ABG

I have a HP Touchsmart 600-1050a, Product Number: NY760AA-ABG, Serial Number: [Personal Information Removed], Motherboard: IPP7A-M5 Rev: 1.02.

When I recieved the unit the Hard Drive was completely dead. I know this because I connected it to my computer I use to test, backup data, copy the disk to another before doing repairs to save everything on the disk and the disk did not even startup.

I installed another disk and installed Windows 10. There are some devices on the unit that are not detected. I installed all the drivers for the unit and a device is still not detected. I then installed Windows 7 Home Premium x64 and the same thing has happened.

So for me to reset the computer and update to Windows 10. I need the Windows 7 64 Bit Recovery Kit

to get the computer working with all device drivers installed.

I live in New Zealand.

I have found Windows 7 64 Bit Recovery Kit online, but the Model Numbers are different to the one I have. For example 600-1100t. If the Recovery Kit for my model is not availbale will that Kit work on the computer I have?

Regards

Ken

Hi, Ken:

Recovery kits are model-specific, so I doubt the 600-1100t recovery kit would work.

HP no longer sells recovery kits for that model series anymore so I would have no idea where you can find one.

What drivers are missing?

Do you have the hardware ID's for the missing devices?

Use this guide to find that information:

How to Find Drivers for Unknown Devices in the Device Manager (howtogeek.com)

Where are you finding drivers for your PC?

HP retired support for that model series since it is more than 10 years old.

This is the only reputable 3rd party driver site that I know of where you can find W7 drivers for your PC:

HP TouchSmart 600-1050a drivers for Windows 7 64-bit (driverscollection.com)
