I have tried to update to version 19098 with no luck, keep gettings error messages

I am not a HP employee.

 

This can be a tough problem to solve because many things can cause the update to fail.

 

Any specific error codes? The subject is too broad to deduce your problem using the information provided.

 

This Microsoft site (Link) is geared to IT Admins but has some general troubleshooting tips and links to other troubleshooting sites which may help.

 

You have to drill down to specific update error codes to possibly find a solution.

I have a Z420 with Win10 1909 on it. No issues. I did a clean install on a blank SSD though.

If you're trying to upgrade, what OS are you upgrading from? Are you choosing to keep nothing, or keep everything?

What errors are you actually getting?
