I have downloaded and installed updated diagnostics from hp.com/go/techcenter/PCDiags but when I go to the run diagnostics page, I get the message my diagnostics are not up to date and the instruction to do what I did, i.e, download and install updated diagnostic tools. Why?

Hi @SKBTexas,
The "not up to date" message usually means an older copy of the diagnostics is still installed or is the one being launched.
- Uninstall every HP PC Hardware Diagnostics entry from Settings > Apps, restart, and install the latest version again.
- Launch it from the new Start menu shortcut, not from an old pinned icon.
- Or skip Windows completely: restart the PC, press Esc repeatedly, then F2 to run the UEFI diagnostics.
