HP elitedesk 800 G2 Mini 95W
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

Recently bought hp elitedesk 800 g2 mini, install in new m.2 ssd and cleanly install windows 10 on it, on first boot immediately started windows update service, for optimize everything, no usb drive was conected, I have not used any other program, and I have not even accessed the Internet at all. in chrome browser something like that appeared, As far as I know, things like that are malwares.

version: 1.0.7.5

tried Different methods to resolve this, but no result, ( malwarebytes, other antimalware, manually delete this extensions, also searched in windows registry an group policy)
after all this, clean ssd and reisntal windows, first instaled malwarebytes and updeted databases, after this started windows update for installing drivers and system updates, but soon again appeared this extension in chrome, I suspect this is something that accompanies the HP driver, and may not be harmful at all, but at least why should it be written (your browser managed by your organization) and can't delete it?

Hi KAPANADZE_GEO,

That Bleeping Computer article can help you 🙂

But it's really strange that your Chrome came with ad blockers too if you didn't install anything. I've never seen nor Chrome already installed on a HP machine neither with extensions.

Hello
from what, with what did you make a "clean" installation of windows ..
If you are using microsoft media, you are installing windows, with nothing else normally, so chrome should not be installed
If you haven't installed anything at all, you shouldn't end up with the browser!
Be careful because when you install certain programs, you must check and not check everything without viewing, sometimes installations may be included, you must not tick to be safe

just restart the windows installation, nothing else, check, it should be clean

All rules are followed during this procedure, I am not a beginner in this profession, it is obvious that this utility comes with either upgrades or drivers.

It is possible that, after install windows manually install drivers step by step and find reason, but why windows 10 update doesn't finish this job cleanly ??  during update malwarebytes was monitored system and nothing was discovered.

attention, this plugin visible only google chrome, now installed firefox and I do not notice anything strange

Really unusual situation... Do you use "Driver Something" (such as Driver Booster) in order to deploy your drivers on the host?

What about Chrome, what caused its setup? Did you check the link I provided?

Hahaha, so many questions regarding your case 🙂

nothing like driver pack or others, i am not begginer ,say it again.

i use only windows update service for isntall drivers comfortably, ( in special cases, download it manually from OEM manufacturer site, with cheking serial or service tag number)

isntalled windows twice an after some update this extension appeared

i am going to install windows and step by step install oem drivers for identify this problem,

I posted it here just in case, if someone went this way

what I said above ..
only install windows, no update check!
do not install anything else, so no browser, no anti something, no winrar, additional software, nothing other than windows
install hp updates available from hp only one by one
check each time that nothing additional
Then if you want to use the browser, do not go through a third-party site
during installation, check the advanced settings if there is, and uncheck if there is something extra this often happens

installed windows again, step by step install all drivers. now chrome is clean, this extension does not appear.
connection is disabled for safety
now what can i do ? enable connection and start update service ? or what ? if i enable update service it will start automatically, how i can determine wich update comes with this extension ?
I can observe the process superficially in setting>windows update but exactly wich one will be ?
