When I access software and driver results for my computer, I see many categories. They are: driver-keyboards, driver- origianal, diagnostics, firmware, software-multimedia, order- recovery. When I try and look at details, (by clicking on the details tab) at anyone of those given categories, the function doesn't work. How can I see what details there are before I try a possible download? Can someone help? Thank you.

Hi David, thank you for your reply. The web address is the same one I am using for the HP downloads, and the same one I mentioned originally. I am very hesitant to use Firefox reset. It is sort of problematic, and even the Firefox help contributors actually discourage its use.
I will very carefully take your advice and look at device manager to see what is already installed. What do the numbers in parenthesis, next to the downloads mean, David?
I will take your advice and get back to you about what transpires afterwards. Thank you David for your help and patience.

Hi David, thank you for your reply. The computer is a HP Pavilion p2PC. The model is p2-1113w. Not sure why I can't access the details link when viewing the various downloads I mentioned in my email, David. Before I consider a given download, and whether it may help, I would want to know the details about it. Hopefully you can help and explain? Thank you, David.

It's possible that this is a Browser problem. So, which Browser are you using to view the HP website?
We can proceed when you provide the information.
Thanks

OK, thanks for the feedback.
I use Firefox and have no problems with the HP website.
You should go into Firefox, click on Help --> About and have it check for Updates.
The current version is 52.0 and you should be using that.
Good Luck

Hi,
I guess you could also try to use a different browser and see if it works. If not, you can post a link to the exact page you are trying to look at. (or do you have problems with all pages of HP site?)
Let us know,
David

Hi David, I will try a different browser, I.E. But, that browser is very problematic for me. That is the main reason I use Firefox. But, nonetheless I will try it, if in fact it will work. I keep getting "I.E. has stopped working when I try and use it most of the time. But I will give it a try and see what happens. After trying it I will get back to you, David. I will also explain the exact page I am referring to with HP support that I am having difficulty with; it is the link that shows details for downloads for given drivers etc. that is not working. Thank you, David.
