An HP moderator will contact you usually within 36 hours.
Standard warranty is 1 Year. As you did not state the exact model number, I can tell you this fact:
1) That series was first released in 2017. Various models were then progressively released.
2) NOS aka New Old Stock. A vendor/re-seller unloads older models within the series. You will need the purchase invoice to prove you bought this unit within the last year.
3) Those units utilize a laptop style PSU. Check that the wall cord is firmly pushed into the power brick.
HP Envy 8 5010 Tablet
(2) HP DV7t i7 3160QM 2.3Ghz 8GB
Printer -- HP OfficeJet Pro 8620 Legal
Custom Asus Z97D, I7-4790k, 16GB RAM, WIN10 Pro 64bit, ZOTAC GTX1080 AMP Extreme 3 fan 8GB RAM, 500GB SSD, Asus PB287 4k monitor, Rosewill Blackhawk case and 750W OCZ PSU.

@melmonta I understand your concern and I will bring your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.
Although, I'll need some private information from you in order to create a case for you.
Please look for a private message requesting additional information.
Keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers, case details, etc...).

@melmonta We will need the information requested in the private message to forward this request to your regional team for immediate support and follow-up, that said, the case number doesn't do us any good as that's pertinent only to the phone support team, I hope you understand.
