I simply turned it on one day and the red LED indicator suggests "pre-video memory errror" and I have no idea what that means or how to go about fixing it. Any help, please?

> "pre-video memory error"
When you start the computer, it performs a POST ("Power On Self Test").
One of the first components to be tested is the RAM -- the memory-sticks on your motherboard.
If that test fails, before the testing of the video is started, then you have a "pre-video" error.
If you have two sticks of RAM in your computer, remove one, and try to start the computer.
If necessary, remove the remaining stick, and re-insert the first-removed stick.
If you only have one stick of RAM, test it in some other computer, or purchase a replacement.
