Just very very extremley curious, why after 4 bios updates with 8446, F.27, does the driver and support page suggest a differnt bios 8431, whetever the latest version was, not sure what it was bhuit never the less why would this occur? Is that the correct bios? Or is there some T. Foolery happening here. I did for curiousity standards, try to install it but it didnt even come close. I just am a bit leary, as well as a bit confused as to is that compatble bios version versus, what ive been updating for two years. Anyone shed a tad bit of light id be greatful. as im thrown for a aloop. Thank u in advance for any comments advice info on this matter. all in on 22-c0xx my ususal bios ver. 8446, f.25, f26 f27 etc . now under that download in drivers page the hp auto thing reccomends 8431, whatever the latest ver was. what gives?

Hello
it's quite simple ..
Although this can be confusing, sometimes even if we use the specific product page, and not the serial page, we may have updates for other models.
For the bios, it's simple, you have to identify the SSID, if not the correct one, the bios is for another computer / motherboard
"all in on 22-c0xx my ususal bios"
knowing that this is not an exact model
example
HP 22-c0057d All-in-One Desktop PC Product Specifications
Apulia motherboard specifications.
- HP name: Apulia
- SSID: 8446
HP 22-c0073ur All-in-One Desktop PC Product Specifications
Motherboard Specifications, Lazio
- HP name: Lazio
- SSID: 8431
