HP Envy TE01-1xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have seen all of the responses saying to go to BIOS setting and to use some combination of FN + ESC etc. And none of those are helping me fix the issue. I have a desktop HP with a bluetooth keyboard that came with the computer. I just want to be able to access the F1- F12 keys without having to press the FN key. I don't care to use the F1 - F12 keys for things like volume and screen brightness. What I need for example is to be able to access a cell in excel by simply pressing F2 and not FN + F2. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hello
and yes I repeat it often, this is only valid for many laptops, not desktops

unfortunately the only possible solutions currently are software, or hardware replacement
There is a solution, but that is to block the key, and you may break the keyboard
Unfortunately either this is not suitable or user feedback

Thanks Promethee. So if I could a new keyboard that would fix the issue?

HP Recommended

If yours is not too bad, maybe it's not worth changing for it
Otherwise, yes, check carefully, many models are also configurable at will
