Hp pavilion 15 cs 0032 nl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear Community,

After a LAN failure, I did a restart but the Notebook Hp Pavilion 15 cs0032nl (with a sealed or non-removable battery) never started anymore.

The situation is this:

- the red-battery led blinks continuosly for 6 sec and, after 1 sec the red-battery led blinks started, the white power button blinks continuously for 5 sec.

- If I press start button for 10 or more seconds  both blinks vanish.

- If I press again start button the red-battery led and the power button led start blinking again.

Hard reset is not working.
Recovering the BIOS using a key press combination is not working.

What to do?

Thank you,

MB

Try taking out  the battery, holding the power for at least ten seconds, then plugging in without the battery to start.

Dear Steve,

Thank you.

I've updated and better described the situation in the first post for all.

The Notebook has a sealed or non-removable battery.

Thank you.

If you feel confident and it is not under warranty you could try opening it to disconnect the battery but only if you are sure about it. It will be similar to this hp video.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Ebj3FH_fW8

Dear Steve,

Thank you. 🙏

Before doing the steps described below, I've noticed that:
- when I let the power button led blinking (with the AC adaptor unplugged) for several minutes the area of cooler system was warm.
While on the contrary, when I let the PC without the power button led blinking (with the AC unplagged) the area of cooler system was cold.

However,

I've disconnected the battery.

Then, I've done the power reset (or hard restart) as suggested here https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01684768 and followed the procedure for a Laptop with a removable battery (which is my case, then), but...
- after plugging back the AC adaptor there are no signs from the led indicator of the AC adaptor (!!)
- AND if I press the Power button no signs at all anywhere! Furthermore, there are no blinking leds anywhere.

Moreover, I've now tried to:
- Press the Power button with the battery disconnected and the AC adaptor plugged in. But no signs at all
- recover again the BIOS https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02693833 with the buttery plugged but no signs...

A mistery?

Have you any way to test the power supply? Have you tried different leads into the power supply and different sockets in the house?

Dear Steve,

Thank you for the help.

I went to a technician (a friend). He tested AC  system and is ok. But still doesn't start.
Now he'is working...we'll see.

Regards,

MB
