Envy 700-406
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have an HP Envy 700-406 with an a10 7700k apu and would like to allocate more system memory to vram. I've attempted to do this within the system BIOS, but there was no option to do so. I've also tried to find an updated BIOS, but there was none listed on the HP website when looking at the software and drivers page for my pc.

Thank you for the additional information, @B14NK.

The truth is, installing a new motherboard may or may not work in your case.  You can buy a discrete video card for about the same price as a motherboard and get far better system performance.

@B14NK, welcome to the forum.

There is no way to increase the VRAM settings.  You will have to install a discrete video card to solve your problem.  This will give you a major system performance increase.

Would it be possible to increase my vram by buying a new motherboard? (My warranty has long been over) @old_geekster
