On occasion I do look for software updates and it's been a very long time since I updated the bios, there was a message on the HP assistant software today that an update to the bios was available, great, selected and did the update and it refused to install after downloading stating "the bios I already had was newer"......here is the odd part, the version i have installed is called F32 the latest available on the HP website is F70 so that suggests mine is out of date as it's been nearly 2 years since I updated the bios. Why won't my computer update something that is clearly out of date.

@Kevin_Davia I understand your concern and I will bring your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.
Although, I'll need some private information from you in order to create a case for you.
Please look for a private message requesting additional information.
Keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers, case details, etc...).
