Bios update issue

HP Recommended
HP Envy 27" all in one B190NA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

On occasion I do look for software updates and it's been a very long time since I updated the bios, there was a message on the HP assistant software today that an update to the bios was available, great, selected and did the update and it refused to install after downloading stating "the bios I already had was newer"......here is the odd part, the version i have installed is called F32 the latest available on the HP website is F70 so that suggests mine is out of date as it's been nearly 2 years since I updated the bios.   Why won't my computer update something that is clearly out of date.

Thanks for any help.  Kevin.
