Hi there,

Which kind of troubleshooting have you done?

Looks like you haven't seen my previous posts. I already had a remote session with HP Support and they confirmed the issue and told me to wait for further instructions.

P.S. It's not a notebook.

Praveenbv @HP Support,

Again I suggest you read the posts and the challenge before making any useless statement.

I repeat it is not a notebook.

I have done extensive checks with your support team, provided the logs...

I am not the only one.

I have been wasting my time, so far.

Please I do suggest you read the posts and come back with serious support, before aggravating all of us, once again.

Hi,

Check HP downloads, they rolled out new BIOS F22, which fixes our issue. According to my observations, it limits the current for the CPU, so that it throttles more aggressively under the load and doesn't work at full speed, but the system looks to be stable now. Actually it's exactly the same what I did with a throttlestop. Nice that we've got a quick fix from HP, but it's a pitty that it comes at a cost of some performance loss

Thanks! I can’t get it installed!

did you have challenges?

No, it went smoothly for me without any problems. What kind of issue do you face?

If I do it via HP Assistant, on restart it states UPDATE invalid. Most of the time it tells me there is not enough space on the EFI Partition (100MB) which I can't change.

If I do it via USB Key it says it miss the firmware signature.

I even reset and reinstalled windows 10, since also windows updates were failing to complete.

Ciao,

I was finally able to update to F22 Bios.

I have to say that the PC still freezes up.

How is it going for you?
