Something I did notice about F.22. Looking in Device Manager under

Firmware->System Firmware->Properties, the driver tab details still state driver version 15.21.00, date 28/12/2020 & Firmware tab ->version F220000 date 28/12/2020

 

Other utilities such as System Information or in the BIOS itself, has AMI F.22 5/2/2021

Note: month is display in non US format with day/month/year.

Well, if this don’t beat all, today on Windows 10, I have another forced firmware update for HP 15.22.0.0. (waiting to be installed).

Despite the fact, I have turned OFF manufacture’s updates and I have already installed F.22 directly from HP.

 

The tool Microsoft provided in the past to block an update wushowhide.diagcab is no longer available.

Oh wow, keeping fingers crossed.

 

I didn't expect wushowhide to be available as long as it was. Cant have everything that works, you know. SMH
