Cannot transfer files to Hard Drive from SSD

Hi I have a brand new all in one and firstly cannot get the pc to download files directly to my 2TB hard drive. It stores everything on the ssd even though I've been into settings to adjust that. Secondly having saved the files to my ssd it will not let me transfer them to the hard drive and tells me there is not enough space even though it's empty.

I'd be really grateful for some guidance

First off, we need information about your drives, so go into File Manager, find the 2TB drive and post the following information from the General tab:  File system, drive letter, capacity, used space, free space.

Second, what folders exist on the 2TB drive?

Third, what folder are the files in on the SSD that you're trying to move to the 2TB drive?

We can proceed when you provide the information.
