I have an HP Office Jet Pro 9015e. Can this printer also scan an "image with text" and convert it to text (OCR).

Thank you for your reply. I did need to talk with HP Technical Support. It was a printer driver issue. Once we installed a new driver everything was back to normal. The folks at HP Technical Support are fantastic.
