ENVY PC TEO1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

New computer, says it comes with DVD writer, yet I find no software on it that allows me to write to a DVD?  Hardware does play CD/DVDs.  What am I missing?

Hi:

You would have to check the online specs for your specific model TE01 PC to see if any DVD burning software was included beyond what W10 normally can do as far as burning DVD's.

If your PC did not come with any 3rd party software, you can see if this W10 Cyberlink software is supported on your model...

CyberLink Power2Go is a media burning software that allows users to burn data, music or video discs. CyberLink Power2Go offers support for CDs, DVDs, HD DVDs, and Blu-ray discs, and also includes features for disc copying. This package is available for supported models running supported operating systems.

Thank you for the information.  Silly me thinking just because HP includes a DVD writer they would actually include the software to enable it to function.  (Eye Roll Here).   I appreciate the link and again the information.
