help

i am rendering some Daz 3d products and i am getting an error message which says

''could not find a valid open CL device ''

i read on the daz help forum that you must check to see if your pc has this CL device  or not

for some they get the error even with this CL device  if you dont have it there is a download BUT

i dont want to mess with it because i am as thick as a brick about this sort of thing

so

how do i find out if i have this or if my pc will accept it if i use this download ...

thanks so much for being here.

Download AIDA64 application and open it...it will display all information about software and hardware installed on your pc.

Expand the Display tab->GPGPU...and check there if you have an OpenCL device as you need!

Hope this helps!

Good luck!

You need to add an video card that supports OpenCL....Most modern cards supports it...I used to have in an older computer a Geforce GT 730 ...which has OpenCL..Maybe you can buy a video card that supports it...and problem solved
