Everyday I get message to update this driver "Realtek RTL8xxx Series Bluetooth Driver for Microsoft Windows 10 (DCHU)"

I update the driver and the message returns the next day. This computer is very new but I had the same issue on my old HP

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if installing this version of the Realtek Bluetooth driver makes the other notification go away.

This one should be newer:

1.9.1051.3007

I loaded the driver and the system now says the all drivers are up to date. I will give it 24 hours to see if it is fixed. Normally it comes back the next day.

Thanks hopefully this works.

Sorry, that didn't work.

Isn't there an option the HPSA to ignore or delete the update?

If the update is coming from Windows update, you can run the Microsoft Hide Windows Update utility that I zipped up and attached below.

Run the utility.  It will look for pending updates.

It should find the Realtek Bluetooth driver update.

Check the box to hide the update.

The utility will run again and report the problem is 'fixed.'

Restart the PC and the update should no longer appear.

You may have to click on the 'Retry' button a few times to clear it out.

Windows does not show any updates neededd

If you ran the tool and it shows no updates are available, try it again tomorrow when the update shows up again.

I also ran "HP Customer Support-Software and Driver Downloads" and it shows no update needed. I think it"s a HP software issue.

Yes, if this update is showing up on the HP support assistant program, it is definitely a bug because I am very sure that the driver I gave you yesterday is newer than the one from the HP support assistant.

There should be an option to delete or ignore the update in the program.

Usually there is a little trash can next to the update you click on.

I don't have any pending updates on the couple of PC's I use the HPSA on, so I don't know exactly what your options are, but I have deleted unwanted updates from showing up in the program in the past.
