Cannot run the HP software to ID my Desktop ENVY 700-074.

I downloaded and installed the software multiple times but all that happens is that File Explorer opens a dialogue box with the download at the top of the list asking what program I want to use to open file. VERY STRANGE INDEED. **bleep**? Have also searched the system for a program called HP Solution Framework - but nothing comes up. Can anyone help? What am I doing wrong?????

Sorry, this ENVY is running Win 10 Pro with All updates installed.

I don't quite understand what you want to do
HP solution framework is a subroutine that cannot be used directly by the user.
If you want more information for your computer directly use hp support assistant

Or if installed used the other program that opens the system information window
