HP Pavviklion p6-2143w PC

Recently switched from AT&T to Spectrum, upon cancelling AT & T started getting error message AT&T settings out of date, either password or Security Certificate. Emails no longer update as of cancellation date but I can send new email.  I get email on my android phone and on my Apple tablet but not on my computer. Have called AT&T spoke with 5 different people to no avail.

Mu guess is that whatever App you were using to access AT&T on your PC is still pointing to it -- which would result in error message like this.

Your Android and Apple devices do not use that App, so you would to go into it and remove the settings for AT&T.

Thank you for your input, I ended up calling HP, had to pay for the answer but got it. The answer was the password had to be reentered, it had nothing to do with the security certificate.  Hope this helps anyone else that runs across this problem.
