Product: HP Pavilian Slimline S5000 series; model s5765uk
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I find that my computer (using Windows 10) often slows and in the Task Master processes, I find HP Touchpoint Analytics Client periodically gobbles a lot of Memory (1000- 2500 MB).

I then click 'End Task' in the SE corner slot.

So what does this Touchpoint Analytics do please??

Thanks Banhien for the two links about HP's Touchpoint Analytics. What a fancy name! Is HP trying to impress users?

Anyway I followed George Finley's tips and stopped the spyware. 

But I noticed that it was still runninig in Task Manager. Only when I clicked 'End Task' was that offending spyware removed. Will HP apologise, I wonder. Don't they realise that they slowing done one's work and annoying clients??

Great articles. This worked perfectly. First I stopped it in the task manager, then I followed the method described and disabled it, then I went into the programs menu and uninstalled it.  

This has been installed since 11/2017, but it was only after the recent windows update that it started to cause major problems, exactly as described by others. It was using almost 100% of the cpu and interfering with everything.

Thanks for the tip. I found that this programme was consistently using over 50% of my CPU time. Was thinking I needed to buy a better machine, turns out I just need this programme to buzz off and stop wasting my time.
