Hello- I am having a Bitlocker issue with an HP 24 All-in-One f0061. I am attempting to Bitlock the C: drive. Bitlocker will start and encrypt the drive successfully but after the first reboot the drive will automatically decrypt. OS is Windows 10 21H1. Also this system comes with the Intel Octane Memory Module. I have tried disabling it but still have the same issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

On the machines where I have Bitlocker, the drive does that too. This is by design -- so that you do not have to enter the decryption key to use the drive.

WAWood,
Thanks for the response. None of my other PC's that have the C: drive encrypted do this. Sorry but maybe I did not explain very well. Here is exactly what is happening.
1. I launch Bitlocker Manager. Operating System drive C: shows "Bitlocker Off".
2. I encrypt the C: drive saving the recovery key to a flash drive. It does not ask to enter a password.
3. Drive encrypts successfully and shows "Bitlocker On".
4. First time I reboot after successful encryption and immediately launch Bitlocker Manager it shows "Bitlocker Decrypting".
5. Eventually Bitlocker Manager shows "Bitlocker Off" after decryption is done.
6. Any additional reboots after that Bitlocker Manager just shows "Bitlocker Off".
manage-bde -status shows "Fully Decrypted".
Thanks.

OK, thanks for the explanation. My PC with BitLocker does not do this, as your other PCs, so I have no idea why this is happening.
You can check the Bitlocker Management function again to see if there is an option for automatic decryption -- but I only remember an option for auto-entry of the decryption key.
Since BitLocker is not HP software, we don't have any way here to diagnose or correct problems with it. You would have to check with Microsoft Support on that.
