Where is the camera switch located on HP laptop?

Hi   @Ajtulp,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I  understand how important it is to quickly access your laptop’s camera when you need it. On most HP laptops, there isn’t a physical “camera switch” like a toggle button  instead, the camera is usually controlled through software. Some models, however, may include a small privacy shutter near the top of the screen that you can slide open or closed.

To guide you better, could you please share the exact model number of your HP laptop? The position of the camera shutter or switch (if available) can vary depending on the model.

I hope this helps.

I'm an HP Employee.
