I'm having this exact same issue. I had to reboot multiple times and force all omen apps to not run on startup in settings. The ONLY fix has been to do this and then uninstall so far, leaving all my omen products missing compatibility. I have a new PC, 13900KS with 4090 and 64GB of ram. 100% of the ram was being taken by this installer replicating itself as well as the CPU hitting 100% and thermal throttling to oblivion until the PC self shut itself down to stay safe.

Had the same problem, luckily uninstalling OMEN helped. AND luckily I was able to do it, since the reproduced processes took almost 100% of my cpu.
This bug however is unforgivable, and from now on I will not be buying HP products.

I have had the same problem.
After waking up and turning on my pc it immediately started around 100 process that reproduced themselves when closed.
Instantantly my cpu and ram were at 100 percent capacity and heating up fast and high.
My computer didnt react at all to my input so I had to shut it down.
When booting up again the problem remained.
What helped me was starting windows in safe mode (by holding the shift button when pressing restart in the on/off menu) and setting back the pc to a safe point windows automatically made from yesterday.
Thankfully I didnt loose much data in the progress.
This could have been so much worse though if I hadnt noticed my hardware spiking up that hard. Had I left my house to go to the bakery and run some errands my house may already have burnt down when I returned, I dunno.
This feels like such a disastrous mistake on HPs end that cost many people a lot of hardware lifetime, maybe even bricking it.

I had the this issue pop up this morning when I booted up my computer! Like everyone else my CPU was at 100% load and at times so was my memory. I don't have a powerful PC by any means but I've never maxed those things out before. The bullet points below show how I resolved the problem. (I hope this works for others)
* I searched for Omen Gaming Hub I the windows search bar and clicked uninstall.
*Next I opened my folder app and did a broad search in the "Search This PC" bar and typed omen all lowercase.
*I then selected every visible file that came up (excluding the windows error report that the computer made about the app) and deleted them.
*Finally I went to my Recycle Bin app. Selected the "Recycle Bin Tools" tab and clicked "Empty Recycle Bin".
I would also recommend restarting your computer to make sure the problem doesn't resurface

A Temporary solution i found is by opening the file location and renaming it so it cant be launched by the host process. You do still have to restart your pc but it seems to work until you have to do a system update

Hi, New version of Omen Gaming Hub is now available online and including the fix. Please follow the steps below for the update/installation process:
- Go to the Microsoft Store to update all your software, including ‘Omen Gaming Hub’,’ to the latest versions (v1101.2406.15.0). Afterward, restart your PC.

I agree that this needs to be fixed, but in the meantime just open up the task manager as soon as you boot up your computer and log in. Hit Ctrl, Alt, Delete to open the task manager. Once there scroll down to HP.OMEN.OMENInstallMonitor and a service that says HP.System.Optimizer or something like that. They should be right next to each other. Simply left click on both to end task before the HP Omen Install Monitor task can replicate and problem solved. You must end both of these task as soon as possible.

HP nearly fried my CPU WHAT THE ACTUAL FFFF. Just updated my windows and come back to my PC barely working, check task manager, HPOMEN Monitorinstall is duplicating itself over and over again running CPU usage to 100%, temps reaching over 80C. Uninstall OMEN Gaming Hub, restart and no issue so far..
HP THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY.
