Can I wait on a bios update from the manufacturer (HP)?

Thank you very much!
I've updated my bios earlier, the crashes are still happening. The latest NVidia driver makes my PC performance very bad, stutters all over. I've rolled back the driver to an older version and this was solved.

I have already found out that DirectX 11 solves the problem.
This having said, I still wonder why the update from Fortnite causes these problems. Anyway the problem is solved!
