So frustrated with this new computer!!! I know it is a cheapie....but how could they put this computer on the market with this software knowing that it does this.....every single time I turn it on it tells me to wait while updates are being perfomed....literally renders my computer useless for sometimes up to an hour....every single time!!! Help please!

There are always variables. I would suggest you use any of these to determine download speed.

As always, the best speed is with an ethernet cable. Wi-FI can be slower.

Thank you....but....what updates could possibly be needed EVERY DAY? When I open my security and privacy....tells me that I am completely updated....but rest assured when I turn it on again, it will say wait...updating?!
Sorry to be a pain 🙂

Just remember to define the time of the metered service, so it will do it when scheduled. My original question about your MB/rate of Internet Service.
Thanks for the comment.
