Hello everyone,
Today I updated my laptop, which is usually in the closet.
Since the HP Support Assistant 9.15.xx.x was installed.
After the monthly Windows updates, version 9.16.80.0 was on it.
I think it has something to do with Microsoft's framework.
I hereby close this case.
Thank you for your time and support.
Kind regards
Thomas

FYI - Following my earlier message (5) I used Microsoft Store today to update my 'Library' of Apps and HP Support Assistant got updated to v9.17.31.0.
This seems to confirm that the latest HP SA updates are being offered via MS Store and not via the HP website.

Yes, that's what I've been saying since the beginning!
I did not add yesterday, because I do not know if it would work, and it is necessary to modify the access to the file!
Since the request is for backup, it would be possible to copy the entire folder of the Hp support app
programs/windowsapps folder..
We find hpSA here, but I could not test, copy the folder to an external USB key , and try to reintegrate it afterwards..
A single test leads me to think that this may be impossible, the .exe execution file in this folder is directly unusable

Thank you, but here it is customary, to use the accept button as a solution, has the closest answer

Hello everyone,
HP has solved the problem itself with the Support Assistant Version: 9.16.80.0.
The HP Support Assistant version: 9.16.80.0 is now available for download as a separate installation file from the official website: https://support.hp.com/de-de/help/hp-support-assistant.
Thank you HP.
regards
Thomas

hi
I hadn't paid attention until now
but it seems that one has the file, only after new version..
Now the version available from the store is 9.17.31.0
So every time it has to be shifted , therefore, the latest version is not available for direct download.
