@FrederickMD - You can always open our Virtual Agent on the left navigation bar and just type Live Agent and enter your Serial number and click submit and you will be connected to live agent assuming you are still in warranty.

@mpw101 - Can you share your installation steps to getting v9.6.839.0? Can you confirm you have all the latest Windows updates installed? If not, please open your start menu on Windows and type "Windows Updates" and check for latest windows updates and install all of them and restart the PC then check HPSA again.

I followed your steps from this discussion.  My downloads list the same sp as you indicate but  swsetup shows a different sp as I indicated in previous message.  I don't know why.

I have all the latest updates except those released today.  I do not install updates on same day offered as they often contain bugs that need to be sorted out.  But my computer was up to date until today.

Hi @mpw101 Thanks, can you confirm what version you currently have installed of HPSA?

Could you please open your MS Store App (Start Windows icon, type store) > On top right click on 3 dots ... > Download and updates > Click the button "Get Updates"

It should install the latest v9.6.839.0 for you:

HPSA offered  update sp109023 which I installed this morning.  When I opened HPSA this afternoon it offered another update, a more recent version of same thing, sp110577.  See below insert.

Checked Fixes and Diagnostics and the box is populated.

I suspect it had to do more with passage of time and several restarts/shutdowns today.

Anyway, it is working and Fixes and Diagnostics is back.

Xavier-M

Thanks for your help warning everyone that HPSA update had problems and to wait for the fix on November9.  That was good to know and helpful.

That is exactly what I am not doing, opening Virtual Agent on the left and typing Live Agent. Entering Serial Number and Product Number. I am NOT able to initiate a chat session and it goes in a same loop!!

Yes, I am under warranty. I have bought a care pack and this is a brand new laptop, 4 months old!!
