On the HP desktops/laptops I manage I use HP Support Assitant for OEM updates. The HPSA software is currently setup to detect new driver updates. The HPSA displays a tray icon with a number of pending updates.
Q: Is there a way for me to remotely determine if a host has pending updates. Does HPSA have a registry key I can query that maintains the number of pending HPSA updates.
Thanks
Joe

Welcome to HP Support community.
No, there is no other way.
Only HPSA keeps you informed about updates.
HPSA is automated and optimized to run pending updates.
I hope that helps.
