Stop HP Support Assistant from continually telling me that my software and drivers are up to date. How can I either remove or have it disabled.

I should add that this is not happening on my HP Laptop, and it has only started happening about a week ago.

Welcome to the HP Community --

Any newer-than-dirt version of HP Support Assistant is an application.

-- Suggestions --

Open the HPSA > Settings and switch off the check for Updates -- this is particularly helpful if the PC is older and there no longer any (many) HP Updates offered.

OR

Uninstall the HP Support Assistant.  This is helpful if you are not using the app, if your PC is older and the app no longer provides its update-drivers function, or if you have a business class machine that is supported by the HP Image Assistant.

Settings > Apps > Installed Apps

Search for "Support"

Select drop-down arrow at the right side of the listing for HP Support Assistant

Select Uninstall

After the app is removed, Restart your computer and log in.
