ENVY All-In-One 27-b245se Product Number: Z5M06AA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently sold a 2 1/2-year-old HP ENVY All-In-One 27-b245se Product Number Z5M06AA to a family member after wiping all but programs and the OS from the computer and need to change folder paths so they write to the data drive instead of the SSD. The SSD is 256 GB and the data drive is 1 TB. Total data space needed is 223.2 GB. The following folders need to be rerouted so data stores on the data drive; data is storing on "C" drive now: 61.7 GB Desktop; 48 MB Music; 22.8 GB Documents; 102 GB Videos; 702 MB Downloads; 36.7 GB Pictures; 48 MB Music. Total data space needed is 223.2 GB. Programs and the OS are fully intact and working properly. I tried moving the contents of an old computer to the ENVY, but it saved to "C" drive and was exceeding its capacity so aborted the transfer and deleted everything and emptied the recycle bin. Other than programs and associated files, I would like to route all read and write data to the data drive. Any help provided will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

To move your Videos, Picture files folder from your main system drive, an SSD, to a mechanical hard drive, just locate the folder you'll find it in your user folder at C:\Users\NAME. Right-click it and select Properties, then open the Location tab and select a new location for it.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
