I want to install drivers without the need to install HP spyware. How can I do that? I discovered that programs cryptographically signed by HP, is frequently trying to connect to servers when not in use, and even trying to take screenshots when uninstalling them, so therefore HP programs are a big NO. I have been in contact with HP customer support but they are not willing to help me. Their answer to any question is summing up to doing a reinstall of windows. HP customer support are the worst.

Hi:

I'm not quite sure what you mean 'without the need to install HP spyware', but for the last 20 years or so, I go to the HP PC's support pages, and manually select and download just the drivers I need for the devices that need drivers.

I do not use any programs such as the support assistant, etc., to do the work for me.

You can do likewise.

Okay, because as default the drivers was being installed with a program, I think it was called HP support assistant. Thank you very much Paul.
