I'm in need of usb/usb 3 drivers or Universal Serial Bus controllers that may have them ?
Win 10 64, EliteDesk 800 g1 usdt.
Serial #: 2UA3382PGF.
Product #: E3T09UT#ABA.
When I plug in a usb device like my phone, Device MGR shows 'Unknown USB Device (Port Reset Failed)'

That is very odd the USB ports aren't working on a clean install of W10.
As long as you have a product key for W7, you can reinstall it and it will activate.
Did you run a hardware diagnostics test on the PC?
You may want to make a bootable 4 in 1 diagnostics USB tool and see if there is a hardware issue.
That utility can be found on the bottom center of the webpage.

Although if you are having the same issue on two PC's...it probably isn't that.
Did you install the latest chipset driver directly from Intel? Maybe that will fix the problem.
Download, unzip and run the setup application, and restart the PC.

Hi Paul,
The machine had 8, then it was back dated to 7, now has 10. I just reloaded 10 this morning. Whats worse is i have two of these machines with the same issue. I feel like if I loaded them with 7 they would be fine and I like 7 but I have no idea how long MS will preform activation on 7?
