I would to uninstall the ASP.NET Machine Account from the Local Account as it is causing me problems of deleting an anti-virus App. that I don't need or want as I already have an anti-virus App. that is already paid for. The question is would it be safe to uninstall it as on my old Windows XP there was no ASP.NET Machine Account in the Users Local Account. When I tried to delete or uninstall the App. I received the message that I needed the Administrators permission to delete. I am the Administrator so the ASP.NET Machine Account must be the other as it is password protected. I have a HP p6-2378 with Windows 8 64 bit.

I understand you want to remove the ASP .NET account.
This account is needed for some system functions, so I don't know that removing it would be the best option. User account in Vista and up work a little differently than they did in XP. To help control malware, the top level administrator account is disabled by default with a second level, with less privileges, gets the Administrator label for users to use. Some programs, especially older programs, depend on this top level admin account that is disabled.
What is anti-virus are you trying to uninstall? There may be a removal tool that is necessary to properly remove the program.
I would recommend trying to uninstall the app through the system admin account and then disabling the admin account once you are done. This guide details how to enable and disable this account. You could try launching the uninstaller with admin rights (right-click>run as administrator).
Let me know what happens.

You are most welcome. Some anti-virus programs don't really uninstall through a traditional means. This is to prevent a virus, like a new virus, from removing the program.
I'm glad you were able to find the right uninstaller for it.
Thanks for updating the community. 🙂
