Icons on HPSmart display improperly: can't see ink levels

In HPSmart, the icons on the front page display (Toner Low, Shortcuts, Camera Scan) improperly such that only part of them is visible. I've tried to adjust the display characteristics including both the resolution and the text/image sizes and that doesn't help.

@JKS95 -- suggestion: if your computer-mouse has a scroll-wheel, hold-down the SHIFT key on your keyboard, and "roll-up" or "roll-down" that wheel, by a small amount, to see if the icons change in size.
