I have purchased a refurbished HP Elite One 800 G4 AiO computer with a new Win 11 Pro install on it, but with no HP software showing on apps list, so I need to re activate the models HP software. I have tried some suggestions from the web, but I seem to hit a snag every time with things ( answers) not being what I should expect.                           Have managed to download HP Smart and HP Support assistant, but not the HP program that would have been on it when new. Can some one help please.

What you want to have is probably not possible to get.

Have you checked your PC's support page for the available software to download?

Your other option would be to reimage the PC may making a bootable USB recovery drive with the HP cloud recovery client utility on your PC's support page:

Here's an info link for how to use the utility.

Pay particular attention for how to install the software after the operating system has been installed.

What I don't know is if using the HP cloud recovery client will restore every HP software program that originally came with the PC.

Hi Paul, sorry it's been a few days for me getting back to you, but I just wanted to thank you for the help, I used the first suggestion, I went on to the HP Support Assistant and used there software and drivers to update my BIOS, but I had to first find out out what my Recovery Key was and they suggest doing it on another computer, which was a bit of a task because the reason I have got the new one is that the old laptop was coming to End of Life, i.e. not able to update to Windows 11, I did manage to sort it out in the end on my new computer and after a little glitch I hopefully have sorted it now. Thanks again. McToen.
