We are using HP Support Assistant 8.8.24.33, but are not getting a vulnerability with the Framework older then 12.15.14.3.  On some of our machines we can run the check for update and get the 12.15.14.3 client, but on others it is prompting us to install the 9.6.587.0.  We would like to be on the same version, but at this time we have the Microsoft Store locked down.  Is there a way to upgrade just the Framework to 12.15.14.3 or is there an .exe for installing 9.6.587.0.  I have tried the Store install in the download, but I believe since we block the store it errors.  I am also wondering why some of of our systems will try to install version 9.6.587.0 and some will not.  These are the same HW model and same OS versions.  It really does not matter to use what version we use, but would like to use the same across the environment.

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

You always need to use the latest version of HPSA. Using an older version won't be of much use

I suggest you download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...

HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook

  1. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.

Click Updates in the My notebook pane

  2. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.

Updates list in HP Support Center

  3. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.

  4. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.

  5. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install

Thank you and have a wonderful day 😊
